When we are put in a desperate situation, we tend to be calculative, don't we? Because we understood the feeling of gasping for air, but never for the person below us. It's always easy to be "I can't save myself, how can I save you?". I would like to learn. To have the courage to give the person below a fighting chance, not because to be a hero. Because to be that person, is simply difficult. And to simply understand the feeling to know you have given someone strength to break for air.
It all becomes even harder to understand that feeling, when you watch yourself fall into the depths. You start to question... things that would no longer matter. It's not about doing something noble, it's not about being a hero, it's not about sacrifice, it's not about who the other person is.
It's to understand who is the person under this skin. To know, who you really were deep within.
Who are you?
